New Corporate template
Challenge
PowerPoint corporate templates exist to help us save time when creating new presentations. Now, raise your hand if you’ve ever found yourself struggling with your corporate template at least once, feeling it was a constraint on your creativity rather than a tool to speed things up. How can a corporate template be redesigned so that it really becomes a useful tool for creating effective presentations faster?
Intervention
There are usually two main reasons behind the failure of corporate templates:
- They have not been designed around actual user needs
- Employees have no clue how to use them properly due to lack of expertise
We collected and grouped hundreds of layouts from the most up-to-date presentations to identify the most used and truly indispensable ones. Then, we organized a series of workshops to teach employees how to best use the new corporate template.
Outcome
We created one of the best PowerPoint corporate templates we’ve ever designed. We made sure it represented the elegance and values of ADP, while including layout alternatives for every possible scenario: agenda slides, section covers, chapter slides, content slides, organizational charts, tables, graphs, and strategy templates. The template includes an extension with handy, ready-to-search and use tools such as icons, maps, and flags. Through the workshop, we enabled all company employees to fully utilize the template by developing effective slides in a matter of minutes.
